The question that fills the FPL air at present is "How much stock do you put in the first two weeks?" Are we to believe that Chelsea is a truly lackluster defensive unit after being the standard bearer a year ago? Is Vincent Kompany's resurgence for real or are we putting too much stock in two suburb scoring games from the City skipper? Over the next 500 words or so I'm going to attempt to answer these questions and more. The truth is we're all reactionary especially when it comes to performance in the early part of the year. Keep in mind this is a game of patience and long term strategy. Sure that's not nearly as true this term as it has been in past years. You know with the whole introduction of the first half wild card thing. Either way, my point is stay strong don't wavier and be patient, and let your observations guide you from week to week. Now time for Keepers and Defence rankings week 3.
